The Symbol of The United Progressive Pentecostal Church is an outgrowth of the vision of the Chief Apostle. The design of the Official Seal of the Church was created in 2009 and officially adopted.
The obvious 2 LIONS in the center of the seal represents the 2 most important components in the UPPC, THE LAITY AND THE LEADERSHIP. Represented by Lion of Judah, each lion (the laity and the leadership) are standing in and with the strength of the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ.
The CROSS in the middle stands for the most important part of the Gospel, the CROSS upon which all of our sins are forgiven and the CROSS upon which our salvation lies. Both the LAITY AND THE LEADERSHIP are holding up the CROSS. This depiction also serves as a challenge to the Church to keep Christ in the center of our worship and service, so that He may continue to use the United Progressive Pentecostal Church as one of the vehicles of revival, power and empowerment before the return of the Lord.
The RAYS that are coming out of the cross, represents where and to whom the gospel must be shared. Our commitment to living and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people regardless of distinction, can be seen in the directions of these powerful RAYS.
