Social Justice Ministry of  is one of our five commitments in the UPPC. Our goal is to  help local congregations and leaders respond to God's commandments to do justice, seek peace and transform the world. Our goal is to speak and act prophetically through community mobilization, leadership training, public policy, advocacy and general education around social issues.

We are inspired by God's grace and grounded in biblical and theological understandings of God’s call to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that the Gospel calls us to:

• Compassion for ALL people.
• Address and overcome all forms of oppression and injustice
• Support the liberation of those who have been marginalized and silenced
