THE 5 PILLARS OF OUR FAITH

1.  The First Pillar: The name of Jesus is prioritized above and more important than every other name given or known in the universe.

2.  The Second Pillar: Jesus Christ is Head of the Church and Sovereign Lord of God’s Kingdom. HE is the image and full representation of the invisible God: the firstborn of all creation;   All things, visible and invisible were created by, in, through, and for HIM, whether thrones or dominions, principalities or authorities, . Christ is before all things and in Christ all things hold together.  In Christ, all the fullness of God is pleased to dwell, and through Christ all things are reconciled to God, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of Christ's cross.(Colossians 1:15-20)

3.  The Third Pillar: God's plan of salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. God destined us for adoption as God's children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of God's will, to the praise of God's glorious grace that God freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In Christ we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, according to the riches of God's grace that God lavished on us. In Christ, we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of God who accomplishes all things according to God's counsel and will, (Ephesian 1:3-14)

4.  The Fourth Pillar: God’s call forevery believer leads  to Justice and Peace. “What does the Lord require of you but to do justice and to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8) Justice Ministry in the United Progressive Pentecostal Church is designed to help local congregations to respond to God's commandments to do justice, seek peace and effect change for a better world.

5.  The Fifth Pillar: God’s Inclusive Love through Jesus Christ is for every believer despite race, gender, socio-economic status, or orientation . We believe that to be fully Christian, we must welcome and embrace   each and every one of God’s Children at  the Table of  the Lord.  Men, women, and children (gay, straight, bisexuals, transgender, etc.)  have full acceptance into the fellowship  of the UPPC inasmuch as they are willing to conform and comply with the character of God;s holiness, as is common with Pentecostal believers everywhere.  All churches of the UPPC Fellowship  must be welcoming, open and inclusive. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
