OUR BASIS OF UNION
While the leaders and founding members of UPPC are adamant about connecting the Body of Christ in progressively minded fellowship, without the rigors and mandates of a reformation, there remain some uniting principles that guard our fellowship from heresy and hypocrisy. . These tenants from our Basis of Union, and are non-negotiable throughout our Covenant Connections. Should our Basis of Union come into question for amendment, it can only be changed as a result of an Apostolic Conclave or by the sovereign will of the Founder and Chief Apostle, Oliver Clyde Allen III.
If our Basis of Union is ever amended, the adjustments will be established in the annual meeting of the UPPC’s Executive Board and ratified at the following Holy Convocation. Churches that remain, after amendments to the Basis of Union are ratified, agree to submit and comply with this statement of faith; those that desire to leave because of an amendment to the Basis of Union shall be released in the Peace of God without the process of due diligence for other dismissal.
