Burgess, Branch Chief for Capacity Building at the Center’s of Disease Control and Prevention, the training you need to develop yourself or your ministry staff is available.  Our Leadership development program is focused on general leadership and management training and is designed to help you become your best and also develop your brightest leaders to determine their future track and focus through diverse ministry work assignments and exposure to seasoned leaders. The goal of the LDI is to develop leaders with the skills and experience to operate in ministry with maximum effectiveness. You will learn strategies for continuous development through extensive assessment, group discussions, self-reflection, small group activities and personal coaching. And because of our strong focus on development planning, which ties general leadership and management skills to the context of your ministry, your program will be uniquely about you.
